Yes I used to own the TMNT RPG and the Post Apocalypse expansion you mention. It's long gone, but I've still got my -original- TMNT comics that started the TMNT empire mouldering in my bookshelf somewhere... I've got a couple somewhere too I think. To anyone younger than us who has only seen the cartoon they would seem quite different. TMNT was quite serious, once you got over the intial gag of the main characters being mutated turtles trained in ninjutsu by an equally mutated rat. It also spawned a number of copycats in the 90s, like "Radioactive adolescent black belt hamsters" but my favourite was "Pre-teen dirty-gene kung-fu kangaroos". What was the name of that car wars type supplement? I know the eastern seaboard one was "after the bomb" but I can't for the life of me... Never mind, I just remembered - Road Hogs! I was surprised to find out recently that kevin eastman was married to julie strain. That must count as the best possible trophy wife for a comic nerd. |

Can't remember her name (the character); she was a bit more girly and less amazonian than Julie, but if my memory serves me right, she was certainly similar. |
